We look back at the story of the birth of the church not so we can try to go back, but to be encouraged to keep going as Jesus leads his family on mission forward. God tells his kingdom story through the lives of people in relationship with him. And because he’s poured out his spirit on us we get to be witnesses, carrying the power of his presence wherever we go multiplying hot pockets of hope and love around the city.
