In this week’s episode, Adrienne Galbrecht shares how she went from a zoology major to a sworn officer to ultimately a crime analyst; Adrienne emphasizes that she gets buy-in from officers not because of her time as an officer herself, but through building rapport as a capable analyst over the years. Adrienne’s first badge story involves a homicide investigation and how she was able to help solidify evidence proving the perpetrator committed the crime. Her second badge story involves her time serving as the Secretary for the IACA, her experiences at the training conferences, and the community she made along the way. Adrienne is currently a crime analyst with the Lenexa (KS) Police Department and president of the Middle America Regional Crime Analyst Network (MARCAN).
