The area of Diamond Point near Payson is a favorite spot for rock-hounds hunting these special stones… many so clear they resemble Herkimer diamonds. You need not be an expert to spot these special gems, just keep an eye out for glints of reflecting light.  An especially good time to hunt is a sunny day after a rainstorm!
