Your Will Be Done

There are plenty of people who would like to know how to pray and what to pray. Jesus answers that and gives us the Lord’s Prayer. We are looking at the phrase, ‘your will be done.’   In the text, we see we have an example of Jesus’ humanity. 'Your will be done,’ is a prayer we read Jesus praying. This phrase is important because it challenges the culture that says, 'no one can tell me what to think, what to do, or how to be, that’s my choice.’ And we all know that choice is a very powerful weapon we must have to maintain our own identity.
