TMRC 003: Fred Kawano was one of the first teachers to teach African American Studies, he also helped to create the school lunch program, he was placed in Tule Lake internment camp during WWII. Fred is now 93 years of age and sits down with his pal John Reneaud to chat about life. This is the first of two episodes with Fred.
