Kurt is a bridge fan (the card game, not the river crossings). So, as he set off on a long car journey, he was looking forward to listening to the latest episode of a podcast he follows. But he soon found that it was so excruciatingly bad that he could only bear to listen to short bursts, hoping each time he went back in that things would improve.
