TGIF loyal listeners and sadly Tony isn't on the show today, for his car is sick and had to take it in. So many things "coming across my desk" Father Anthony says today this morning and starts off the show with what Russia is doing, mobilizing troops around Ukraine with the crisis over there with the possibility of invasion. Another thing mentioned is the recent plane that was landed down and the problems going on in the Middle East as well, for it seems that the world is going through so many problems and Father Anthony asks "Where is the Lord in all this?" With that in mind, Father Anthony mentions with all this, that we need the Lord to help us and forgive us. With all this in mind, we are given the notion that Life itself is precious and that the world isn't perfect but full of problems, but the promise of the Farewell Discourse Father Anthony points out. Another concept or concepts shared is sex and sex education, raising many questions and opinions during the show. Being in a Crisis with all this, where is the focus and God in all this is raised. The Family is once again talked about along these lines of sex and sex ed, with children in mind and relates to what Father Anthony discussed yesterday on the show as well, leading to wonder about what can be done or by turning to Jesus what can we do if we lose our focus, and the solution is turn our gaze to Jesus and receive forgiveness for one. Towards the end of the show, Father Anthony once again raises the question about "Does God Chastise Us?" and with that in mind, he points out the God is loving and helps us and guides us, for God wants no one in darkness, even thought we aren't perfect, but come to Him in gratitude for the things He gives us, but Father Anthony it isn't God who puts us in darkness, but the Devil, raising again the notion of the Spiritual Battle Father Anthony always talks about.
