EPISODE 24: Film Grain Another Fad???

Oh the glorious days of film where only the very few had access to film cameras. Well, today that has changed with the advent of post production tools like Film Convert and Davinci Resolve, we now have the capability to emulate film grain. 

Yet, is this just a fad? Is film grain a look we see here and there and then it's gone? I believe that it's far from a fad because even though we don't see everything with film grain added to it, the tools themselves to add grain had never before been available to clients, agencies, post production houses and filmmakers across the globe.
