Mid-Session 8 Apr 19: Local shares follow Wall Street higher on Monday

The ASX 200 has posted solid gains in early trade on Monday reflecting gains on Wall Street at the weekend, following better than expected jobs data. Mining and Energy names are among the most improved while financials are trading lower as a group.
