Full disclosure: I've been a friend of Jackie Norris for years and while this may seem like a hyper-local conversation about her run for the Board of the Des Moines Public Schools there is more here. We start out talking about her time in the Obama White House where she served as the Chief of Staff to First Lady Michelle Obama. You may remember her husband John ran for governor of Iowa.
