Terrence Malick has been a filmmaker we've talked a lot about but haven't reviewed one of his film's since 2011's The Tree of Life. The reclusive director returned to a more (relative) narrative structure in 2019 with A Hidden Life, a period film set in Austria during World War II. Now available on VOD, we look at the Malick's storied career and our thoughts (and feelings) about his unique filmmaking technique.
