When a couple has already been together for a long time, before getting married, they probably don’t need a lot when it comes to the registry. The Good Beginnings allows the couple to ask the guests to, in turn, donate to a charity or charities that the couple feels passionate about. This is a wonderful alternative to filling your home with extra items you probably didn’t need or want in the first place.
If you want, it might be nice to share with the guests the amount that was collected and donated in a thank you as they leave. Sharing that celebration with your friends and family is a nice way to thank them for doing this alternative registry.
