For a good dog and for all the dogs

Hi friends I can't put a statue up or erect some great monument or write indelibly in the sky but I can salute a great friend of mine who has passed on to whatever comes next. 

I want you to think for a moment about the goodest boy that there ever has been, a dashingly handsome black lab mix named Archimedes with his huge growwwwwwl and his bellowing WOOF! and a goofy silly squirrel overbite and his silver hair breastplate that made him look distinguised all the way to his sweeping wagging white tipped tail. He was a good boy and was loved by many people and now he is gone and it is sad but he lived a wonderful life and built a mountain of joy with his licks. I considered him a close personal friend since he was a silly puppy and I know many others did too as he was the kind of dog one remembers with a smile.

Please remember to give your own dog or cat or even your friend or kid a pat and a hug and remember to never take things for granted or speak in anger when you could speak in understanding and kindness as suddenly it can change and you'll remember. Feel free to crack jokes though, everyone could use a laugh. Especially yo momma. 

Excuse the many times in this episode where I debated ending it, including the fake end where we were just about to leave and just like the other day, much rejoicing was had when folks hopped on. I appreciated it because it kept my mind off my friend Archimedes as he lay ill. 

Puff something wonderful my friends and remember that life is fleeting.
