About Paula Swope
Before Paula became an author, she raised $60M for impoverished populations by securing grant funds. When Paula was fenced in and punching a time clock, she said, “If I can make a living helping people, I’ll have it made.” That’s precisely what she did as a grant writer and what she’s doing today as an author. Her life purpose is to help people transform their lives as she has, which inspired her to write Thought S.N.O.B.: The Modern Spiritual Playbook for a Better Life. Paula’s relatable style has earned her a massive 260,000 social media followers across all platforms, with more than 6,500,000 video views.
At 25, broke and miserable, she enrolled in college as a non-traditional student. Six years later, she obtained a bachelor's degree in political science and a master's degree in public administration. In May 2021, after working in fundraising for over a decade, Paula resigned to focus on her lifelong dream of being an author.
Paula has studied spirituality for almost 20 years. Her studies include workshops with self-help giants like Wayne Dyer, Louise Hay, Deepak Chopra, and Abraham Hicks. Studying under the best, Paula figures she has accumulated 150,000 hours of experience in this field, making her an expert. She is trained in Transcendental Meditation, Primordial Sound Meditation, and Tapping. To expand her toolbox of offerings, she studies under Deepak Chopra himself. She has earned certifications in Meditation and Ayurveda Health and is working on the most prestigious credentialing offered by the Chopra Center, the Total Well-Being Coaching certification.

Her dedication to teaching vulnerable populations how to manifest the lives they deserve is her gift to the world. Coined by her followers as the “most relatable self-help influencer out there,” Paula’s social media analytics show that she helps approximately 30,000 people daily through her social media posts and online workshops. Her posts and live events are attended by tens of thousands of viewers, drawn to her relatable style and easy-to-follow strategies. When she’s not providing advice or running workshops on social media, Paula enjoys listening to music, and her taste is as diverse as her lifestyle. Paula thinks she’s been to Graceland twelve times but admits she stopped counting long ago.
