EU must support fishing and aquaculture industries – O’Sullivan

The European Parliament has been voting on what are being called “exceptional measures” to allow more flexibility to use EU cohesion and structural funding to alleviate the fallout from the Covid-19 pandemic.

There’re also measures to provide financial assistance to protect hard-hit fishing communities and aquaculture farmers.

The Green Party MEP Grace O’Sullivan explains how those in the fishing industries could access these much-needed funds.
