The Turtles at Lake Inverell

Turtles are wonderful and fascinating animals. In Australia, we have a total of 26 different species. Two of these, the long and short neck turtle are home at Lake Inverell and the Macintyre River. Ecologist Wendy Hawes is talking to our host Wildlife Photographer Heinrich Haussler, about the turtles and what is needed to safeguard their existence at the Lake.
