Turning Points: Week 3

Life's losing streaks can make us feel like remnants of our former selves, as happened to Naomi in the book of Ruth. After losing her husband and sons in Moab, she returned to Bethlehem bitter and empty, allowing her losses to reshape her identity. Through her daughter-in-law Ruth's loyalty and the kindness of Boaz, a guardian redeemer, Naomi's story became part of God's greater plan. This narrative reminds us that God works providentially through our messes, weaving hope through every step. In Christ, our ultimate Redeemer, we find our true identity beyond our losses - not as bitter, broken, or alone, but as chosen, valued, and loved.
