Market Close 3 June 19: Worst day in 5 months for Aussie shares

The Australian sharemarket fell by 1.2% on Monday as geopolitical concerns weighed on local equities. Mining and energy stocks fell heavily due to a tumble in commodity prices while gold and property stocks improved.
