Specialist Ryan Timmermans

We sat down with Army Specialist Ryan Timmermans. Specialist Timmermans spent three tours in Afghanistan working as both an Intel Specialist and Psy Ops. Specialist Timmermans talks with us about the ways he had changed when he returned home from his first tour, how he had problems reconnecting with society, and why he felt more at home returning to Afghanistan than staying in The States.

 

Since leaving the Army, Specialist Timmermans founded the non-profit Veterans Off-grid based in Carson, New Mexico with the purpose of helping veterans reintegrate back into society.
