Mid-Session 11 June 19: Aussie shares hit Dec 2007 highs

The Australian sharemarket is improving for a fifth day as investors play catch-up following a long weekend. Vocus (VOC) is up 10% after receiving a takeover offer and The Star (SGR) is down on a profit warning.
