The Mother of Sighs is back in a brand spanking new remake of Suspiria! Running at 152 minutes and daubed in earth tones and slow contemplative shots of rain-soaked divided Berlin, Luca Guadagnino's vision of Suspiria is a far cry from the original. As all remakes should be. But is it any good? Does this new trawl through dance school witchcraft breathe foul new life into the story or is it simply an exercise in snobbery and self-indulgence?
