Gideon as Archetype of Today‘s Resistance Leader

Gideon as archtype of the men God is calling today — weak in the eyes of man, but Called.   He starts by dealing with bad theology in his own household (on pain of death).  This was the main stronghold against The People.  That had to be corrected before he could fight the Midianites.
