Cuba Persecutes Christians with New Laws

Cuba recently approved a new constitution. It passed by 86%, with many citizens voting under
duress. Most churches were outspoken against the new constitution because decades of living
under the Cuban Communist Party has shown that what is not in the document, like
administration codes, are the real laws. These codes can require churches to register and
secure permits for church events and securing permits can take years. Religious liberty
watchdogs predict that the Cuban government is preparing an intense wave of Christian
