Your job is a means to an end - You are not your day job

This past week, I spoke to several mellinials about the crushing schedule many are working at the moment.  Many are missing time with their families and few are even given the opportunity to take a moment to breath, much less a vacation.  What's Boomertastic notion is driving this slave schedule?  Is there a way out?
