Market Close 1 Jun 21: ASX starts June in the red while RBA remains on hold

The Aussie market fell for second successive session starting the month of June with a small decline. The ASX 200 was down as much as 44pts or 0.6% before recovering a touch to a loss of 19ts or 0.27% at 7,142. Resources stocks were a clear out-performer on commodity price strength.
