1. God comforts His people through other believers. (v. 2-7)

2. God restores joy to his people through repentance. (v. 8-16)

1_Worldly Sorrow -> Regret -> Death (i.e. Judas: Matthew 26:14-16, 47-50 & 27:1-5)

2_Godly Sorrow -> Repentance -> Salvation (i.e. Simon Peter: Matthew 26:31-35, 69-75 & John 21:15-19)
