Summary: Now Omega-Who-Devours-the-Earth's heat had filled her with a great longing. As her next heat approached, she decided she wanted Danger-Lover, an Alpha chief, who she'd met before. She told her sister, Lightning-Seeker, to go get her. In return, she would spare Lightning-Seeker's forest.

Though a Beta's shadow should not cross that of an Alphas, still, there was much in the journey that made them linger upon the path.
