Mayor Julia Leu chats to Paul about the Council's introduction of Level 2 water restrictions for the Douglas Shire TODAY. Level 2 water restrictions means new usage times for garden irrigation systems and sprinklers while continuing the ‘no-irrigation-Monday’ rule of thumb. Changes to measures around external household cleaning, operation of water features and the cleaning of vehicles, boats, jet skis and trailers are all part of a stronger push to conserve water.
