Last week, the Henry and Stark County Health Department kicked off a program of events they are calling 12 Communities in 12 Months. It's a monthly event where staff from the Henry and Stark County Health Department will hold a community event highlighting Public Health and the services of the Health Department, in 12 communities served by the Henry and Stark County Health Department. The first event at Peoples National Bank in Kewanee highlighted Radon Awareness Month and the Health Department gave out free COVID-19 testing kits. In February, the Health Department will go to Orion where the event will highlight Heart Health.
