Derek chats to former Morton and Kilmarnock midfielder Alan Mahood. As a boyhood Killie fan, Alan managed to live his dream and play for the Ayrshire club for six seasons. He started his career in Greenock where his early displays saw the biggest clubs in Britain chase his signature, Liverpool, Chelsea and Rangers were keen on the youngster but he opted to join Nottingham Forest under the legendary Brian Clough.

Things didn't quite work out for Alan at the City Ground and he came back up north, firstly returning to Cappielow before his switch to Rugby Park.
