Alan Shade is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Roy Dean and also hold a black belt in TKD. On this episode of Jiu-Jitsu Unraveled, Alan discusses how he began training Karate in second grade and his eventual discovery of Jiu-Jitsu. Alan currently owns a martial arts academy in Las Vegas and talks about what the Jiu Jitsu scene is like, as well as cross training with 10th Planet, Evan Dunham and others.
