General Hospital comings and goings fans are in for a mix of drama, suspense, and real-life health issues affecting one of the show's beloved actors. 

The fate of Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) and Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey), hangs in the balance after a cliffhanger in Friday's episode. 

However, the biggest news is John J York's exit from the show due to his battle with blood and bone marrow cancer. John, who portrays Mac Scorpio, is set to undergo treatment and a bone marrow transplant. His last scenes will air this week on the ABC soap opera. While his exit is temporary, it remains uncertain how long his recovery process will take. 

Teenage Danny Morgan, played by Asher Jared Antonyzyn, steps into the character's shoes, replacing Zachary Risinger. Meanwhile, Lily Fisher reprises her role as Georgie Spinelli on GH, after previously being replaced by Eden Harker.
