Mid-Session 2 Jan 18: Market kicked of the year in the red but is now improving

The Australian stock market started the 2018 year in negative territory and a weaker close on US stocks market last Friday the 29th of December 2017. But over the 2017 the year the Dow rose by 25.1%, the S&P 500 lifted by 19.4% and the Nasdaq Index rallied another 28.2%.  The Australia market also increased over the year with the All Ordinaries Index rallying 7.8 %.
