Sarah Lavezzo is the founder and director of Ascend Micro School. Her mission is more than just the tagline "Growing Minds, Giving Hearts." Through personal experience, she knows that education is not a "one size fits all" item packaged neatly on a convenient shelf (and neither is business).

Sarah says, "I have been a “teacher” since second grade when I started helping in my mom’s first grade classroom. Working with children has always been my passion! I love exploring the world with them, guiding them as they pursue their dreams, and just having a fun time together. I firmly believe that our kids are capable of great things, and I’m excited to see the amazing work of our students!"
