When will you stop trying to do everything on your own?

 

The world tells us to be strong, independent, and self-sufficient.

 

But today, Jesus reminds us of something radically different:

we were never meant to do life alone.

 

Even Jesus says He does nothing on His own — He is in complete union with the Father.

 

So why do we keep trying to carry everything by ourselves?

 

In today’s Rise Up reflection, Fr. Meyer invites us to surrender — to open our hands and say:

 

“God, I need you.”

 

Where in your life are you trying to do it all alone?
