Market Close 5 August 19: ASX 200 hits a 5 week low after China responds with latest trade war salvo

The ASX 200 suffered its worst fall this year, in the process hitting a 5 week low. The selling was in response to news that China will suspend purchases of US agricultural products. The latest salvo in the trade dispute weighed on most markets throughout the region.
