He went on to becoming not only a 5-time Grammy award musician, playing with Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, but also he became a composer of various genres such as ballet, symphonic works and screenplays. Wooten is also a recognized inventor of electronic instruments such as the Drumitar and the RoyEI.
