In this episode I chatting with Lulu, who shares the story of her first daughter Ayla’s birth. Lulu shares a gorgeous tale of Ayla’s conception and the moment that she found at that she was finally pregnant. She went through quite a few different models of care, before finally deciding at 38 weeks pregnant to hire a private midwife and birth at home. She then goes on to share Ayla’s labour and birth, which didn’t follow the expected progression of labour and came with some unusual challenges.
