Devotion: Thirsty? How About Some Living Water!

Summer is right around the corner! In Houston that means you better be paying attention to how much water you’re drinking! It is VERY hot and humid here and in the summer you can hardly keep enough water in you because the sweat just pours out! It’s one thing to have a thirsty body. What about if your thirsty body is in a land that doesn’t have much water to drink though? Land that is drought stricken and didn’t have running water. What a terrible place to be! The human body can’t survive very long without water.

It’s one thing to have a thirsty body. What about if your thirsty body is in a land that doesn’t have much water to drink though? Land that is drought stricken and didn’t have running water. What a terrible place to be! The human body can’t survive very long without water.

As rough as that would be, what about a thirsty soul? What about a soul that’s begging for peace with God and coming up empty? Jesus addresses the thirsty soul in today’s devotion as we look at John 7.
