Verdugo Community Church Worship Service for February 13, 2022

We begin our service with an instrumental prelude. Pastor Gail Whitcome Linstrom welcomes all to worship and to participate in the life of our church family and opens us in prayer. Dale Reynolds calls us to worship with a reading from Jeremiah 17 and 29. Music Director Heidi Sandoval then leads us in praise and worship music. Greg Hart focuses us on the concerns and praises of the congregation in the Prayers of the People. Pastor Gail looks at how Jeremiah lived his life in relationship with God and how in Luke 6 Jesus affirmed that our relationship with God was the way to peace and hope in our troubled world in her sermon, “Experiencing God’s Presence as We Walk with Jesus.” She then leads us in Communion, so you are invited to have bread or crackers and a beverage ready to participate in this sacrament.
