Justin Townes Earle / Emily Gimble / Interview: Jane Zelikova (500 Women Scientists)

This week’s eTown repeat airing features two dynamic musical talents: the famously raw and wonderful singer-songwriter Justin Townes Earle (son of Steve Earle) as well as Emily Gimble, a talented pianist, vocalist, and songwriter who shares stories about growing up as a member of one of the most famous musical families in America (she’s third generation in a long line of iconic players). And Nick interviews a co-founder of “500 Women Scientists,” a grassroots organization that promotes the importance of science in general while raising the profile of female scientists around the world.
