One — President Trump thinks there will be a truce deal soon between Israel and Hamas. Earlier Sunday, Trump issued what he called his last warning to Hamas, urging the Palestinian militant group to accept a deal with Israel to release hostages from Gaza.  Trump said Sunday on Truth Social that the Israelis have accepted his terms and it’s for Hamas to do the same.

 

Two ---  Maryland Governor Wes Moore says he's ruling out a presidential run in 2028.  Moore made the comment during an appearance on NBC's Meet the Press, saying that he's excited about serving a full term.  The Democratic governor has been floated as a potential contender for the White House.

And number three ---   Hawaii is bracing for Hurricane Kiko as it approaches the islands as a major Category Three storm.  Maui and the Big Island are still expecting strong winds, heavy rain, high surf and possible flooding starting today.
