Mark 11-13: Preparing our hearts for Advent

We are looking at Passion Week in the gospel of Mark this week, the last week of Jesus' life before his crucifixion. I was thinking as I was preparing and getting to record this episode about the timing of it in the calendar year. It's Thanksgiving week here in real time, and at first I was thinking this is kinda a strange time to be studying Passion Week as we are getting ready for Advent...but then I thought, 'no, you know, it's actually a great time to study this passage.' What better way to prepare our hearts for Advent than to think about why Jesus actually came. So we dive into Mark 11-13 in this episode and begin the real journey to the cross.
