Cort Kirkwood is a long-time contributor to The New American and a former newspaper editor.

He has been writing about American politics and culture for 35 years. His articles have appeared in Crisis, The Remnant, Chronicles, National Review, The New American, and elsewhere. He was editor of the Daily News-Record in Harrisonburg, Va. for 18 years and is the author of Real Men: "Ten Courageous Americans to Know and Admire".
