Market Close 14 Sep 18: Market recovers some recent losses

The Australian sharemarket finished firmer on Friday, ending a slump which saw the local bourse decline for 10 out of the past 11 sessions. Stronger than expected Chinese economic data, including retail sales and industrial production helped boost investor sentiment.
