Change can feel exciting… or absolutely terrifying. In this episode, we explore why change affects people so differently - and how to manage it in a way that feels less overwhelming. I talk about how important it is to understand your personal change threshold - that tipping point where excitement turns into panic.
Rather than diving in headfirst, I suggest breaking change down into steps. That might mean planning more carefully, easing into it, and recognising that pushing out of your comfort zone doesn’t have to mean losing control. Even something like getting back into driving can be managed in stages: get in the car one day, start it up the next, then just drive round the block.
It’s all about recognising where you bump into yourself, and putting systems in place to help you move forward without burning out. Change doesn’t have to be dramatic to be powerful - and it doesn’t have to be scary to be worth doing.
