Mid-Session 20 August 19: Aussie shares continue to rebound

The local sharemarket is improving for a second straight day with the ASX 200 lifting back above 6,500 points at lunch on Tuesday. Gains have been mostly broad based with energy, healthcare and retail names among the biggest improvers while materials underperform. Losses for gold miners and BHP have weighed on the sector.
