My guest toda is Emmy award-winning TV journalist veteran Dan Rascon. Dan is the weekend anchor for KSL TV in Salt Lake City.

He has traveled the country and world for nearly 30 years, capturing some of the most compelling, heart-wrenching, and inspiring stories. He’s been a solid fixture in the Utah news market since October 1999.

He has covered everything from the devastating fires and earthquakes in California to the Oklahoma City Bombing trial in Denver, to the 9-11 terror attacks in New York City, to the five-week Elizabeth Smart Kidnapping trial in Salt Lake to the devastating ambush of American women and children in Northern Mexico by the cartel.

We talk about how there have been are still good decent people in the media despite its growing repuation for bias and corruption.
