I lost a great friend this week. 🕯 Kirthmon F. Dozier, a longtime Detroit Free Press staff photographer who captured some of the biggest and greatest moments in Detroit sports history over the past several decades, passed away Friday at 65 years old.   I'II remember Kirt for not just his ability to tell captivating stories with his photography, however his friendliness and compassion for everyone around him. He was an amazing colleague, an amazing journalist and an even better friend to everyone, and I will dearly miss him. My hearts go out to Kirt's family and loved ones during this difficult time.
