Days of our Lives sees EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) has found himself in a precarious situation. After being shot, he is left to contemplate his next move. Though he could use this as a chance to change his ways, it seems more likely that EJ will use this near-death experience to manipulate his loved ones and get what he wants. Belle Black (Martha Madison) confesses her love for him, and EJ may use this to his advantage. He could feign memory loss to avoid answering any more questions about the recent events involving Arnold Feniger (Galen Gering) on the NBC Peacock soap opera. 

DOOL sees that alternatively, he could accuse someone he dislikes, such as Gabi Hernandez, currently portrayed by Cherie Jimenez, or Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) of shooting him. There are speculations that the real shooter might be Rachel Black, but it is unclear whether EJ would want his niece to face the consequences.
